we found them in an aspen groove and under pine trees. I hope they are not some gourmet Colorado mushrooms, because I threw them all out....

Well firstly I can say they are NOT gourmet.

Did you do any spore prints? If not I suggest you begin there next time to narrow down some of the mushrooms and possibliities. The spore print colors alone could help tremendously with identification. Some more closeups would help as well. The larger one in the last picture looks similar to Agrocybe praecox possibly. The first pictures look like some kind of Tricoloma (I could be wrong). Pictures 3 & 4 could be many possibilities but without the actual spore color it is difficult to say.
